There is more comfort in sitting silently in a room with someone who has been where you are than hours of someone else talking to you and trying to comfort you. That is what ACCESS is for air crash survivors. It is built on that very foundation that someone who has been down that road and is further along than you, has so much light to shed. From the loss of my Eddie, I acquired wisdom that I did not ask for and did not want. Knowing that I have something to offer and then helping other people who are grieving has been without question the most rewarding thing I have ever done.
