“Another year, another candle, remembering all those who left us far too early – sending love and gratitude for all you do and who you are!”
Michele lost her son Seth, 18, aboard a military aircraft
Seth was killed, along with 19 other proud and brave marines on April 8, 2000 when their MV-22 Osprey aircraft crashed during a training mission. He was the youngest one on the plane, only 18. He said he would do whatever it took, including give his life, if that is what was necessary for all people to live free. He is my hero, the bravest soul I have ever known.
Nichol lost her 15-year-old sister aboard Aloha Airlines
“My sister died in the Aloha Airlines crash 10 years ago. She was 15. The 21-passenger plane was carrying the Molokai High School volleyball team back to Molokai. This year we are having a big 10-year anniversary memorial. The pain and shock still remains…as if the crash occurred yesterday…”

For brief moments the doomed airliner continued in flight into the now darkening eastern sky. Then, in what onlookers would describe as a sudden fireball, the shining craft suffered a final explosion, shattering into a rain of flames, and falling into the sea below…
Sara lost her best friend, Louise, aboard a private aircraft

“If I knew it would be the last time
that I'd see you fall asleep,
I would tuck you in more tightly
and pray your soul to keep…”

“More than anything, I would like Tammy to be remembered for the remarkable woman she was, and for all that she gave by paving the road for all the woman who road her coat-tails. To see her remembered only as a victim would diminish all she contributed to the role of women today.”
Helen & Larry lost their daughters Chrisha, 28, and Brenna, 25, aboard TWA Flight 800
“We were on Long Island the first week in July and visited the memorial and left flowers. The memorial shrubs and flowers continue to grow and they were blooming beautifully. The following is a poem/story that I first read in “Bereaved Parents USA” Vol. 23, Number 2, March/April 2002. It helped us, perhaps it will help others.”
