A Poem For Those Lost in the Tragic Attack on the US – Sept. 11, 2001
To those who have fallen
And served our country well
Unbeknownst to you
Was a final farewell
You wake every morning
And never wonder why
Evil hasn’t met you
To force a ï¬nal goodbye
This action will not be forgotten
Nor will those lives that were lost
Our God Almighty has chosen you
What a tragic cost
So we say our prayers and hope you sleep softly
Our American brothers and sisters…
You will never be forgotten.
